Please, check your time zone before signing up. The schedule below is in Chicago/Central Time. Students don't need to be from the Chicagoland area to join our online sessions. Anyone is welcome!

Grammar Boost

Strengthen your grammar, build confidence, and take your Czech to the next level through focused practice and personalized feedback.

  • Mondays & Wednesdays, July 6 - 15
  • 5:00 - 6:15 PM CT
  • 4 lessons over 2 weeks, each focusing on a key grammar topic, plus assignments
  • Small group classes
  • Ideal for returning students from Beginners and Elementary levels

Czech Conversation

Practice your Czech in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere while discussing engaging topics from everyday life and Czech culture.

  • Mondays & Wednesdays, July 6 - 15
  • 6:30 - 8:00 PM CT
  • 4 themed conversation sessions over 2 weeks, each covering a different theme
  • All language levels welcome
  • All course materials provided and included in registration fee

The registration deadline is Friday, June 26, 2026. The schedule will be confirmed to each student by this date at the latest.

Registration and Tuition

To register for a class, please fill in the online registration form. No paper form is necessary. You can pay online or by a check.

  • Check - Please, make your check payable to the T. G. Masaryk School and write the full name of the student on the memo line (if different from the account holder's name). Mail the check to the school by the registration deadline. The address is 5701 W 22nd Place, Cicero, IL 60804.

Lecturer

All classes will be taught by Kristýna Horáčková. Kristýna graduated in Czech Language and Literature at Charles University in Prague and has been teaching Czech to foreigners for 15 years. She has worked in language schools and non-profit organizations and has experience with students from all over the world. In addition to teaching Czech to foreigners, she is also involved in further education of lecturers and teachers.
